Fresh Cherry Lemonade
The perfect blend of lemons, tart cherry juice, and raw sugar!
This recipe makes one serving (16oz)
Ingredients needed:
2 small lemons
2 tablespoons of raw sugar
2 tablespoons of pure tart cherry juice, not from concentrate
Boiling water
Ice

1) Cut both lemons in half and squeeze the juice into a bowl, then drop in the rind as well.
2) Add 2 tablespoons of raw sugar.
3) Pour 1/2 cup of boiling water into the bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.*
4) Stir, then strain into a 16oz mason jar.
5) Add 4 large ice cubes and stir until the liquid has cooled.
6) Fill almost to the top with cool water.
7) Pour in 2 tablespoons of tart cherry juice.
8) Enjoy! =)
* - This step dissolves the sugar and steeps the beneficial citrus oils out of the lemon rinds. It is not necessary but does make a superior-tasting lemonade!
